Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times..
Memorial Woodlands is open daily to visitors. It is a place where you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Our charitable trust (Bristol Memorial Woodland Trust, Charity No: 1082094) is creating a nature reserve to help preserve our threatened environment and the countryside.

Planting a commemorative tree is an ancient gesture steeped in tradition and meaning. It is a symbol of continued life, strength and family connections. Whether you are visiting for recreation or as a relative or friend of someone laid to rest here please enjoy this natural environment as it changes over the years and seasons.

The Nature Reserve is managed and maintained by a resident grounds team with the help of the Trustees and specialist ecologists. British native tree and shrub species are planted along with permitted meadow and woodland bulbs and flowers.

It is a beautiful space in which to reflect on your loved one, recall treasured memories and feel a sense of peace. Please sit amidst the trees and flowers, under dappled sunlight, listening to birdsong and the gentle breeze.
