Memorial Woodlands helps families reimagine funerals for the 21st Century. We believe that families should have an alternative to what is typically a half hour conveyor belt experience at the crematorium. We also believe that a funeral service with a burial should cost about the same as the average cremation.

Every life is unique, so we work with you to make the funeral unique. No other funeral director has their own chapel and reception rooms, set in 100 acres of burial grounds. These grounds are being developed into a nature reserve managed by a Charitable Trust. As we own the venue, we guarantee that you will have an uninterrupted morning, afternoon, or entire day to celebrate the life of your loved one. Having our reception rooms and hospitality team at your disposal means the whole occasion runs seamlessly.

Burials in a nature reserve are environmentally beneficial, unlike cremations, which release CO2 and pollution into our environment. Every family that chooses Memorial Woodlands is helping to create a natural woodland habitat, open to the public, that provides a serene and reflective environment for current and future generations.

Our funeral packages for burial cost the same or less than that of a 30-40 minute cremation. We are also pleased to help you organise a conventional cremation service at your crematorium or service at Memorial Woodlands followed by a cremation. We have a wide choice of plots available for burials and the interment of ashes.

Our respectful and dignified funeral directors have over 50 years of experience between them and all possess exceptional talent for caring for yours and your family’s needs. At Memorial Woodlands each family is assigned one funeral director to help them arrange the funeral. The families that we serve often compliment us on our attention to detail in the planning and our discretion on the day.

Our office staff play a massive role in supporting the funeral directors, groundsmen, catering staff and of course our families.

Behind the scenes at Memorial Woodlands are a number of valuable members of the team who provide catering and flower design for the funerals services and maintain our beautiful grounds.
