For years we have been transforming the hedgerows, small fields and rolling meadows of this gentle valley near Thornbury into a woodland cemetery for future generations to remember and enjoy. Our woodland cemetery offers a truly beautiful alternative to traditional options and offers individual or family plots for burial or ashes.

Alongside the cemetery sits our private chapel and adjacent reception rooms. These are available to help your family create a very private and unique burial or cremation service.

Friends and family are welcome to visit the woodland on any day of the year to pay their respects and enjoy the serenity and wildlife, which exists among native trees and plants.

As well as being a unique place of rest, the Woodland Cemetery is an ongoing environmental investment in the future. We plant trees including Oak, Chestnut, Holly, Rowan, Silver Birch, Cherry, Lime, Ash, Elder and Beech as well as a range of wildflowers.

This plant life encourages wildlife such as buzzards, owls, partridges, pheasants and deer. In times of increasing environmental awareness, the Memorial Woodland offers a place where the planting of indigenous woodland helps reduce your 'carbon footprint', and where materials and methods used for burial are environmentally sound wherever possible.
