Memorial Woodlands Seminars, Training and Lectures

Memorial Woodlands host lectures, seminars and training sessions to support the local palliative and end of life care workforce. These events are provided free of charge and delivered in partnership with Gentle Dusk, a socially minded organisation, experts in the field of providing training and events around death, dying and bereavement. These events are currently being delivered online to comply with current restrictions.

Wakes at Memorial Woodlands

At Memorial Woodlands, you will never feel rushed to say goodbye. You can choose to stay at our facility for the entire day of the funeral. We can provide rooms and catering services for wakes, accommodating a few people or large groups. Our on-site staff will be available all day to help and support you. Leave the logistics of the day to us. We will ensure the smooth running of every aspect of the day. From the funeral service itself to clearing away at the end of the wake, allowing you time to be with family and friends.

Our team will work closely with you to ensure your wishes and those of your loved one are met. We have hosted many of these celebrations of life and can offer a package that will best suit your expectations and desires.
