COVID-19 Infection Control Arrangements at Memorial Woodlands
Memorial Woodlands treats, as a top priority, its responsibility for the care and safety of its staff and visitors.
We do everything possible to ensure your visit to our grounds, Offices, Chapel and Reception rooms is COVID safe.
Our staff practice social distancing and wear a protective face covering when this is not possible, or where appropriate.
We constantly follow and maintain Government guidelines.
Our staff follow a rigorous cleaning and disinfecting regime after every funeral and after each visit to our offices, this includes cleaning seating, handrails and other contact points on doors and surfaces.
We have hand sanitising stations strategically placed to enable staff and visitors to sanitise their hands on entering and leaving our premises.
Our chapel seating is arranged to maintain social distancing between different households. We restrict numbers using the chapel to 30 at any given time to maintain those arrangements and in compliance with current regulations.
Visitors attending our chapel are required to wear a face covering and we have single-use disposable face masks available for those who do not bring their own face covering.
As a responsible organisation, we take part in the NHS Track and Trace arrangements. Therefore, we encourage visitors to share their contact details with us enabling us to make contact after your visit should it be necessary.
We will only use your details for the express purpose of Covid-19 infection control and will destroy your details after 21 days.
