Christopher founded Memorial Woodlands which opened in 2001 after experiencing an impersonal, ‘conveyor-belt’ type service at a traditional cemetery and believing that there had to be a better way of saying goodbye.

To this end Chris ensures that Memorial Woodlands continues to deliver a level of service to families ensuring that they have the space and privacy they need to say goodbye in a civilised way, whilst creating a haven of sacred woodland in perpetuity.
